Grant Lichtenwalter
Grant Lichtenwalter has lived and worked in the Murfreesboro community for almost thirty years. He is a graduate of Riverdale High School and Middle Tennessee State University. Grant majored in Finance with an emphasis in Insurance. He started his career selling life insurance at Beach and Gentry Insurance in 1998. He then went on to open his own Farmers Insurance Agency, and from there, started an independent agency in 2006. By becoming an independent agent, Grant felt that he could better serve his clients by offering them multiple carrier options in order to find the best rates and coverage for their needs. In 2010, he renamed and restructured the agency to Middle TN Insurance Group, Inc.
Grant enjoys traveling with his wife, Lacey, and two children, Grifin and Avery. He loves fishing and hunting depending on the season. Grant loves to cook and entertain friends and family whenever possible for any occasion. He is known for being driven, strong-willed, and a proven leader.

Briana Welch

Briana Welch lived in Franklin, NC for most of her life and moved to Murfreesboro, TN in 2014. She has a strong background in customer service and began her insurance journey in 2018. Becoming an insurance agent has allowed her to feed her passion of helping others and building strong relationships. She does not just provide clients with exceptional service but is next level in ensuring that they walk away having truly learned something about their coverages, what they are paying for, and giving them peace of mind when it comes to the things they have worked hard for.
She is the busy mother of a loving but crazy toddler who believes himself to be a superhero! Briana loves spending her time out of the office playing golf with her fiancé, camping, kayaking or just being at home with her family.

Josh Thibodeaux

Josh was born in Louisiana and moved to Tennessee in 1990. He attended Central Middle School, Riverdale High School, and MTSU. Josh received his B.S. in Business in 2005 and a B.S. in Plant and Soil Science in 2008. Josh previously served in the United States Marine Corps after college. Josh began his career in insurance as an adjuster but became a licensed Property, Casualty, and Life Agent in 2014. Josh has been married to Reasa for 20 years and is a dad to two rowdy boys who love the outdoors. In his free time, Josh works at Thibodeaux Farms with his sons. Josh can be described quickly in three strong words - Husband, Father, and Marine.
Fun Fact: Josh was born in Thibodaux, LA but is pretty sure the town is not named after him.

Karen Morrow

Karen was born and raised in Northern New Jersey and moved to Tennessee in 1986. Her insurance career started in 1982 by paying medical claims and continued with many facets of insurance. In 2001, Karen became licensed in Life, Property, and Casualty insurance and continued to learn the industry. This is also when Karen met Grant Lichtenwalter. Karen went to work for the Al Bardayan Agency, Inc., an independent agency in Nashville. In 2011, Karen purchased the Al Bardayan Agency. Karen and Grant kept in touch for years before merging the Al Bardayan Agency, Inc. with Middle TN Insurance Group, Inc. in 2022! The ideology of providing the best coverage for the best premium with exceptional customer service where the same for both agencies.
In the moments she is not at her desk working, Karen can be found enjoying time with her children, grandchildren, and Ernie Hensley. You will hear her speak about the farm, the horses, and Ernie competing in equine sports. Karen enjoys crafting, gardening, cooking, soccer (she’s a retired referee), and anything that gets her outside!

Kelsey was born and grew up in Butte, Montana. She attended Montana State University majoring in Business Finance and German. She has a passion for learning and lived in Germany after becoming interested in the language and culture. Kelsey worked for several years in the insurance industry prior to joining Middle TN Insurance Group, Inc in 2023. She is a licensed agent and loves customer interaction.
Kelsey enjoys traveling to new places, decorating, and doing crafts. Her biggest passion is country music and the amazing history behind it. Since moving to Tennessee, she has enjoyed attending concerts in her free time. Kelsey can be described as an old soul, who is adventurous and always willing to take a chance. Her unique and adventurous spirit is an amazing addition to our diverse team.

Lacey Lichtenwalter

Lacey was born and raised a Kentucky girl. She graduated from Murray State University and then moved to Nashville. Lacey worked as an Area & District Manager of specialty women’s clothing stores for 20+ years traveling all states in the Southeast. After too much time on the road decided to stay at home and help in the agency with her husband, Grant. Lacey became P&C Licensed in 2018. She assists in the office with payroll, marketing, and customer communication.
Lacey and Grant have two almost-grown children, Grifin and Avery. She loves nothing more than traveling to new places, experiencing new cultures, and enjoying all the food, and each new adventure with them. Her favorite pastime is watching University of KY basketball and football with her Dad and sitting on the beach with her sister who lives in Florida. Lacey volunteers weekly at World Outreach Church Children’s Ministry and is passionate about finding ways to do things for others.

Michael Conley

Michael Conley was born in Hartford, CT, and moved to Murfreesboro at the age of 10. He is a graduate of Riverdale High School and Middle Tennessee State University where he received a B.S. in Geoscience. Prior to entering the insurance world in 2012, he was an Engineering Tech at PSI Nashville. Michael has found that he really enjoys helping people by reviewing their insurance needs as part of their overall financial plan while developing relationships within the local community. Mike is married to Theresa Conley who is a teacher at Whitworth-Buchanan Middle School. He says the very best part of his day is the drive every morning when taking his boys to school.

Mike Workman

Mike began his career in insurance in 2010. Mike has been deeply connected to Middle Tennessee all his life. He grew up in Murfreesboro and graduated from Riverdale High School. He earned his B.S. in Mass Communications in 1999 from Middle Tennessee State University. Mike was Director of Operations for Starwood Amphitheatre for 15 years as well as an artist manager for top musical artists.
In his spare time, Mike is involved with the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, Habitat for Humanity, and the local Sertoma Chapter. He has coached and helped run a local youth wrestling club for the last 13+ years. He has served as the Central Tennessee Wrestling Conference President for middle school wrestling and was elected to the National Teams Director for Tennessee AAU Wrestling. He spends all his free time with his wife, Jennifer, and 3 boys Taylor, Miles, and Drew. They love fishing and hiking in the moments outside of wrestling and baseball. Mike is a very busy dad but never be surprised if he answers his cell phone after hours. Mike is loyal, honest, and always there for everyone.

Scott Lasater

Scott was born in Cookeville, TN but grew up in Murfreesboro. He went to Riverdale High School and Motlow State Community College. Scott was in restaurant and hotel management for many years prior to entering the insurance world. He worked for nine years as an adjuster then became a Licensed Property, Casualty, and Life Agent. Scott enjoys spending his free time trying new recipes and cooking amazing dishes for his wife, Jenny. He is an excellent chef, husband, and friend. Scott can be described as intense, loyal, and kind. There is nothing better on a stressful day than one of his amusing stories and his great sense of humor.
Fun Fact: Scott is the youngest of five siblings. He loves coming from a large family.
